iTero intraoral scanner: Impressionless Dentistry

When it comes to your health, knowledge is power. Digital dentistry, especially intraoral scanners have revolutionized the way dentists can educate and engage with patients in understanding their oral health conditions and treatment options. Our 3-D scanner digitally scans your mouth, making dental impressions a thing of the past.

The iTero scanner allows Dr. Nguyen to scan and design crowns, provide Invisalign treatments, and guide procedures like clear aligners, crowns, onlays, and mouthguards with greater accuracy and speed. With high-tech imaging and scanning tools like iTero, Dr. Nguyen can create detailed 3-D models of a patient’s mouth, allowing him to plan out each step of the procedure with extreme accuracy and ensuring flawless results.

Vatech 3D cone beam CT scan

The Vatech cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) scan provides the most precise and highest quality images to achieve enhanced details and better diagnostics in dentistry. This comprehensive digital imaging technology allows for dual function as a CT scanner and panoramic x-ray imaging so patients who require both images do not need to undergo two X-ray scans. In less than a minute, about 150-200 images are captured from a variety of angles. The data captured are then used to reconstruct a 3D image of a patient’s teeth, mouth, and jaw. CBCT technology uses less radiation and requires fewer scans to see the different views and angles of the patient’s mouth. Unlike traditional dental xrays, the CBCT scan can show both bones and soft tissues. Vatech is an advanced 3D imaging system with capabilities is valuable for routine examinations, treatment planning, and follow-up assessments as well as implant planning, orthodontics, and oral surgery.

3-D Printing in Digital Dentistry

3-D printing is revolutionizing the dental industry with rapid speed. 3D printing has become a digital revolution that allows dentists like Dr. Nguyen to produce custom-made dental appliances, from printing orthodontic aligners and implant models to surgical guides, digital dentures, and crowns. 3D printing allows for more accurate and highly-detailed appliances that can be produced in the office in a fraction of the time it would take if using the traditional, conventional methods.
