Dental Bridges

If you have experienced tooth loss and dental implants are not a suitable option for you, a porcelain bridge may be an effective treatment solution.

Your Gentle Dental Experience

Another way to replace lost teeth is by creating a bridge consisting of one or multiple crowns spanning the gap between remaining teeth. Typically made of Good Candidates For A Bridge Include:

  • Individuals who have lost a tooth, and both teeth on each side already have crowns.
  • Patients with a complicated medical history and difficulty healing.
  • Those with a bony defect where a bridge would offer a more aesthetically pleasing solution.

What To Expect

3 Appointments

Initial Appointment

During your first visit, we will carefully numb the teeth on each side of the missing tooth to ensure your comfort. These teeth will then be prepared for crowns. An impression of your teeth will be taken, and a temporary bridge will be crafted and meticulously polished. Your follow-up appointment is scheduled in two weeks.

Second Appointment

At your second appointment, we will fit a framework for your bridge. This step may involve taking a dental x-ray to ensure precision. Detailed photographs will be taken, and a color guide will be employed to assist our dental ceramist in creating teeth that are remarkably lifelike and natural.

Final Appointment

During your third appointment, the completed bridge will be fitted and thoroughly evaluated for functionality, comfort, and aesthetic quality. Another dental x-ray will be taken to confirm a precise fit. Once all aspects are approved, a permanent resin cement will be applied to the bridge and secured over your teeth. We will provide you with instructions on proper cleaning and flossing, including care for the area underneath your bridge.
